This open space of nearly four acres is the home ground of Newton 66 Football Club, which as its name suggests was founded in 1966, and has two teams in the South Devon League.
The park is surrounded by houses, a 213 space pay-and-display car park and the restored buildings, where you will find the Malthouse and brewers
Tuckers Maltings.

During the Second World War it was used as an overflow coal dump for the towns power station which closed in 1974 and demolished
